“Dr. Mannings care for me was mas...”
Dr. Mannings care for me was masterful in all respects. She worked me in emergently to her clinic day from the ER. I was bleeding profusely- the ER did an ultrasound and pelvic exam but did not pinpoint the cause. Given that I was stable, they arranged for me to go directly to the clinic where I was roomed quickly. Dr. Manning noted that I was hemorrhaging and explained to me In both a straightforward but also compassionate way that I could be at risk for an emergency hysterectomy but that she would take several measures to avoid that undesirable outcome. When she examined me she found a polyp - not noticed by the ED- and was able to remove It on the spot. This completely and easily fixed the entire problem, thus obviating further surgery, drug Interventions, and continued worry. She was extremely skilled, knowledgeable, and caring throughout what was a scary situation for me. I am exceptionally grateful for her outstanding care.
