Perception of Doctor is that he did not familiarize himself with MyChart before entering exam room. I understand it was an initial exam to set up as my PCP. No problem with doing that and reminding me I was needing an exam, I took the time to briefly explain what I had going on. Needing some pain meds for bedtime sue to the discomfort. After that he basically said OK you can go. I had to stop and ask for some pain meds, I inquired about compression socks, reminded him about my physical job which I currently am not able to do, and the need for a doctor's note. I left the appointment a bit apprehensive about going back for my appointment

Dr. Florida showed no care to actually help me with the issue I was having. Before I could answer the questions he asked me he was already asking another question. He asked me if I had been tested for certain bacteria to which I responded no, but then proceeded to not order a test for it. No instruction was given on how to take my medication, or for how long I am supposed to be on this medication for. I have learned more about what to do and avoid via researching my own symptoms than what I was informed in this appointment (my medication requires special timing and meal planning). I'm having a follow-up appointment with another provider just so I can ask the questions that Dr. Florida showed no regard or interest in.
