“I am the patient's daughter....”

I am the patient's daughter. I am usually on the phone when they see doctors as I live 4 hours away and I know they have a hard time remembering everything I ask them to talk to the doctor about. I was shocked to see the medication that was prescribed with very minimal instruction about what it would do. They are already a fall risk and on blood thinners. They were prescribed 2 new medications that increase that risk exponentially. I feel that it would be extremely helpful if there was a way to ensure that patients who need a little assistance with appointments had the ability to do that while they are seeing the doctor. If that means getting a phone in the room that will not drop calls, then it should be provided.

Dr Tony (Arveschoug) has an incredible kind and caring manner. There was no patronizing or condescending attitude at all. I was very pleased with the care and concern he showed. His plan of care has so far proved to be effective and I am optimistic for the first time in several months.
