Dr Spitzfaden normally is very good about explaining things and involving me. This time he seemed fixated on the nurse telling him I had a problem with the noised my implant (done in 2016) was making from the initial summary the nurse gave him rather than discussing all the issues I was having with the knee with me. I have sciatica and spinal stenosis and have been under a lot of pain recently. After a fall, where I twisted my knee, the knee started making noises, first once or twice every few days, to now it makes noises with every step and after I stop walking, along with jerking movements inside my knee going up my leg as it makes the noises. In addition, the pain in the knee is overwhelming the sciatica and spinal stenosis pain and has prevented me from sleeping at night. Have taken an oxycodone, 650 tylenol, tramadol, 3 gabepentin, and not had a dent in level of pain coming from the knee.He gave me pt script and told me that the only other recourse was to remove the implant. I dont know what was on his plate that day, but I felt like he wasn't listening to me at all.

Dr. Spitzfaden was great. Explained what he saw on the x-ray and what was the best treatment. Needed a shot in my knee. Nurse came and took me to another room. Asked a few questions and made sure everything was ready for Dr. When he came in he explained shot. Ultrasound my knee and gave the shot. Barely felt it. Explained how long it should help, next steps etc.
