“Dr. Mehta is an amazing neurologist and epilepsy specialist”
I saw Dr. Mehta in Jersey City and I must say, he is quite unique. Never has a physician listened to me so intently without stigmatizing my problems and lumping them as being of the psychiatric kinds. I was having weird spells and he thought that they sounded like seizures. No other doctor thought I had seizures, they just said I was anxious and stressed and that these were psychosomatic episodes due to my stressful life.
So Dr. Mehta had me do an EEG and an MRI of my head. Lo and behold, he found epileptic waves from my left temporal lobe and on my MRI, there was an abnormality in my left temporal lobe. He put me on antiseizure medication and my life has totally changed - FOR THE BETTER. Dr. Mehta is a very skilled diagnostician, a humble personality and a pleasure to be with. He also is very very handsome from my feminine perspective (but that I keep to myself). Anyway, if you need a neurologist in Jersey City, Dr. Mehta is the BEST~!
