“An Excellent Surgeon You can Trust Totally with your eyes”

I have been a patient of Dr. Mahootchi's for more than ten years. I have glaucoma and did have type 2 diabetes . I have had crystal lens replacement (life-changing and awesome), two vitrectomies, procedures to reduce pressure, and Iris repair following retinal surgery by a wonderful colleague of Dr. Mahootchi's. I trust him implicitly. He always clearly explains what he is doing and why. He and his staff are professional and very caring. There is no one else I would trust with my eyes.

“Cataracts and Astigmatism”

It was absolutely wonderful. I had a lot of fear, I was afraid to do it. But it wasn't bad at all. I expected it to be really weird. I started very anxious, but It was relaxing. Dr. Mahootchi explains everything very clear to me so that I can understand it. I would totally recommend him to everyone.

“Eyelid surgery completed”

I thought it was going to be really hard and scary, it wasn't. Dr. Mahootchi was very sweet and he had very gentle hands. I think he's wonderful. I wish he was my son. I get compliments on my lids all the time. All my friends say I look 10 years younger.

“wet macular degeneration”

i came in with wet macular degeneration seeing 20/50 in my right eye. i have had 3 avastin injections and laser. i am now seeing 20/25. Dr. Mahootchi is a wonderful doctor and very skillful at his job. I am very pleased.

“Dr. Mahootchi and his staff are nothing less than excellent”

My experiences with Dr. Mahootchi and his staff are just so pleasant. They make me feel like I am priority. They are very considerate and treat everyone very professionally, but also on a personal basis. Dr. Mahootchi is very thorough with every visit and takes time to explain everything well, so that the patient understands what is going on.

“Dr. Mahootchi was very helpful.”

The surgery went well. It was wonderful. It went better than expected. After a day or two I could see more clearly. My eyelids were out of the way and I didn't have any pain at all. It was very unexpected, I thought it would have been painful, but I had no pain.
