I have been Dr. Mickelson's patient for several years. She has proven to be very competent as well as caring. As an elderly patient, I do not feel written off because of my age. With later age osteoporosis I appreciate Dr. Mickelson recent referral to a specialist in Seattle.

She really listens to me. I feel she sees me as a person, not a set of statistics. My previous doctor, who has retired, kept telling me that I was morbidly obese, but Dr. M says my body type and activities (weight training, martial arts) need to be considered, so while I am overweight, I am not obese.
