I believe her name was Rachel (I may have the wrong name) but the lady that helped me back from the front office to the back surgery area I felt went above and beyond in helping me to and from the procedure..she helped me by taking me to my car..I couldn't thank her enough.. Things have certainly changed over the last 10 years and it’s definitely for the best. Visit time is appropriate, your not spending all day in the office for an appointment. I’ve been so impressed that I recommended some of my clients, their children, and other members I meet in the community because it’s hard to find a physician that listens too the patient and take in consideration other challenges the patient may face. So far I’m elated with care and understand the politics.

This visit was for a cervical epidural. Anytime Dr. Shahid performs an injection, it goes very smoothly. My headache and neck pain is still gone. His medical assistant/nurse is fabulous and efficient. She keeps everything so organized. The office staff is great too. They are very pleasant. All around, this whole office is wonderful.

For what it is, for me to get maintenance meds, I think this experience was great. If it has to be broken down into a video appt and then an appt to give sample, I would prefer 1 day where I could come to office and do both... I really like Margaret. She is sympathetic and understands exactly what pain I seem to be going through. I undergo constant pain, sometimes in one area more then another, but it is extremely debilitating, and without the medicine, I don't know how I'm would handle it. The medicine only takes the rough edge off of it. At one time I was on much stronger, but didn't care for being sleepy all day. Margaret has been helpful with this by supplementing my oral meds with compound creme and voltaren. There are other meds that worked but I he'd to be taken off of because of my kidneys, and my having to use blood thinners. I am a complex case and Margaret has been able to understand this.
