This was my mom's first visit at ECU Health since relocating due to dementia so both of us were nervous about finding a good connection with a primary care doctor. Mom needed someone that would listen to her and that she felt comfortable with sharing anything. Dr Moore was a blessing. She was super attentive, personable, and thorough. By the end of the visit, Dr Moore hugged my mom and mom didn't have any worries that Dr Moore had her best interest in mind. She's a role model for excellent bedside manner and thoroughness.

Dr. Moore spent quite a bit of time with me, but I don't feel that we connected about my care. I believe in integrated and holistic medicine, and she made it clear that she does not practice medicine that way.

The care provider did not perform a physical exam which to found to be odd. She also was unwilling to order certain medications that I wanted, which is her right, but she admitted she was unfamiliar with. That to me meant she should have felt compelled to research the medication to see if it was appropriate for me. Lastly, no labs were ordered. She states I could get them done when I was fasting. Labs can still be evaluated without a person fasting.
