Honestly, one of the worst experiences with a doctor. First, I was waiting in the room for absolute age as it felt, and then when she finally came in, she was just in there for barely Two minutes. I felt like whenever I was explaining what was going on. Yes, she immediately checked The area, but after that she was treating me like a child, like I was wasting her time, and the problem is absolutely super obvious and even seemed annoyed and was ready to kick me out of the room.

The doctor's visit was very unpleasant. I remembered her entering not introducing herself but proceeding with a litany of questions pertaining to my history. She started with noting the date for my last tetanus shot and suggested that I am due for another but did not ask if I wanted to schedule this. After the first round of questioning, she eventually turned to address the reason for my visit, which dealt with me being In a car accident and was experiencing pain on my wrist and lower back. The battery of questions were rapidly fired and were focused on the accident than on the symptoms I was experiencing. When she sensed my discomfort she stated that she had to ask these questions. She even drew how the car incident may have happened and questioned my report of it. Finally, she had me walk to check my gait, raise my clothing, bend and lift my legs to assess my back and legs and determined that I was fine. When she looked at my wrist she stated it was a first degree burn from the airbags deploying. When asked about any medication that could be taken to help with the stinging discomfort I was feeling she rattled one but refused to write a prescription, stating it's over the counter ointment but did not provide a note that I could use for purchase. For my back she said "I know with your sickle cell you may be concerned about what medication to take. Just take some ibuprofen for your pain." And just like that my visit came to an end with little compassion or attention to my symptoms or concerns.
