Dr Shepherd is obviously very knowledgable and did a good job of explaining the procedure, risks, and likely outcomes. I think he was trying to be reassuring in responding to my concerns, but in what was a very emotional and difficult time for me it felt a little dismissive. Probably more about me and where I was at that point than him in discussing a lot of difficult life changes.
