“I don't think Dan knew why I was...”

I don't think Dan knew why I was there. Did he look at my chart at all before seeing me? His expertise is unquestionable but he stands out from all physicians and nurses that I see in that he doesn't display much emotion or empathy. I've hesitated to mention this before because it's just how he is, but it makes me uncomfortable.

I was thrilled to get an appointment in two days, because of a cancellation. Thank you! All staff with whom I interacted were wonderful. Thank you for that too! If I had to suggest one area for improvement, it would be the clinic's phone system. I had to follow up with a prescription and, after holding In the main system, I was transferred to the pharmacy, where I did not need to be, and they did not know the number to transfer me up to dermatology... So I had to call again and start over. BUT other than that, the appointment was wonderful! And I'm very thankful. The PA addressed all of my concerns and proactively addressed others, which I appreciated.

Dan the PA is excellent! He uses a lot of technical terms that I don't know, but he has been my dermatologist for 5 years now and I do appreciate him!

Dan was awesome in every way. I gave him a rundown of my previous treatments from 2019-2024 and he listened thoroughly, asked follow-up questions, gave me answers to mine and laid out all of my options. I told him I'd had an awful experience with the last dermatologist I saw and he was very respectful. Thank you!
