“She didn't take the time.”
I was referred to physical therapy and ended up having Christine Pieper-Johnson, or "Pieper" as she likes being called. She rushed me through my evaluation and I felt like she did not listen to me, constantly interrupting me and spending all her time looking into her computer rather than looking at me. In the end I went to see her for 8 visits, at which point she said she was done with me, despite still having pain and unable to meet all my goals. I felt like I could have received better treatment from other therapists, who would talk and work with their patients, while Christine would put me on a bike for 20 min, then the arm bike for another 20 min, and then the treadmill for the last 20 min - I could have done that at home. I should have asked for another therapist, but at the time I did not know I had that option. Now I know better!
