To begin with, Dr. Macatuno shows care for my health and wellbeing. She asks me about what's going on and listens. Yes, she listens to me, asks for clarity, and gives me her professional feedback. Dr. Macatuno thoroughly reviews my charts, recommends next steps, and reminds me when I forgotten to follow through with any previous ones. Last time I saw her, she reminded me to follow thru with getting blood tests, a mammogram, and a colonoscopy. Her manner is kind and I feel that she treats me with care. She wants me to be well.

I'm new to Virginia Mason. Dr. Macatuno is the first primary care provider I feel is very thorough, caring, professional, kind and makes me feel very comfortable. She takes the time to explain the disease processes, pros and cons. I never feel rushed.
