This was a follow-up visit approx one year after my prior eval for multilevel cervical fusion, and I did not see my surgeon. The visit was conducted by an NP who was initially unfamiliar with key aspects of my case, including documented nonunion at C6-C7. My primary concern-persistent daily neck and shoulder pain-was not meaningfully addressed, and there was no clear management plan provided beyond repeating imaging in one year. Given the complexity of my surgical history and ongoing symptoms, I expected direct physician involvement and a more thorough clinical discussion. This visit did not meet those expectations.
