Dr. Bratis is such a kind, emphatic, and smart doctor. I have a great fear of seeing doctors and she was kind and understanding and did not minimize my irrational fears, instead she helped encourage me. Her MA, Ashley, was extremely kind, competent, and professional. She also knew I was nervous and she was so reassuring and supportive. I don't think MA's get enough credit for what they do- and Ashley should be recognized for her great work. (This was my second visit, and Dr Bratis and Ashley were both wonderful at my first visit as well!) My only complaint- and this really bothers me- is the receptionist's lack of friendliness and the way she dismissed my payment question. I work in a healthcare clinic and I know first hand what a positive impact it has on patients when they check in with a friendly receptionist. The receptionist who checked me in didn't smile, seemed annoyed to be at work, and she dismissed my payment question. I have a $75 credit on my account from a billing error from my previous visit. The receptionist asked me for my $10 copay, and I told her that I have a credit. She rudely told me that she can't see that on her end, and again asked for my payment. She didn't offer to "check with someone about this" nor did she kindly apologize and explain that I would need to call the billing office. It was off-putting and unprofessional. Outside of the receptionist experience, everything else was great.

She spent a lot of time with me discussing my concerns, and I did not feel rushed at any time. She was concerned, gracious, and generous with her time. I would recommend her to any patient!

It was the first time I can ever recall actually calling the office and speaking to a real person who took care of me right away. YAY! The Dr. Is not my usual doctor and she was fantastic!
