“I felt that the provider strongl...”
I felt that the provider strongly preferred that I transfer my infusion services to a specific infusion pharmacy/company. After I expressed that I was not comfortable changing from my current pharmacy and wished to continue with my existing provider, the provider's responsiveness and bedside manner appeared to change noticeably. Communication became less supportive, and I felt my concerns were no longer being addressed with the same level of attention as before. As a patient managing complex medical conditions, I believe treatment recommendations should be based on clinical considerations and patient preference, and I felt uncomfortable with the pressure surrounding the proposed pharmacy change.
