The provider immediately told me upon entering the room that her only ideas about my condition come from my chart, which doesn't provide a complete picture of my situation. Then she proceeded to give me medication based on her previously stated "incomplete picture of my situation," without having a conversation with me about what might be going on or how long this has been happening. She requested labs and didn't tell me what she was even going to be testing, and was very dismissive when I tried to talk about some of my issues. I wanted some data points, and I got some. I wanted a caring person to help me understand what is causing my health problems, and I got nowhere near that.

The only thing that happened was she sent my prescription to the wrong pharmacy because she did not receive the correct information from the person I called to give her the correct pharmacy name . It was not the nurse practitioners fault.
