“Before entering the exam room, d...”

Before entering the exam room, doctor reviewed my history related to my problem. He was prepared so I did not need to relate every detail during our time together. He seemed thorough in his exam and offered options for relief. He detected my reluctance to taper off of a current long term medication in order to start a new med that could address the long term issue at the same time as relieving the providing relief for the current problem. He respectfully asked "do you want to discuss" your concerns. His final words were something to the effect of "I will help you". That meant a lot to me.
