“I told the doctor that I was exp...”
I told the doctor that I was experiencing joint pain and he admittedly said he didn't know why based on labs done at my physical in October 2025. He never touched me or asked to see any of the specific areas (all joints) where I'm experiencing pain. It was very dismissive. He ordered labs but didn't think it would show anything that's causing the pain. I don't like taking medication to mask symptoms, I like to know what the cause Is first then treat it or be offered alternative treatments that may not involve prescription drugs. I was given paperwork of exercises but they were so out of order, no page numbers, and the exercises were for one area only. I felt this doctor was very dismissive and never read my chart beforehand. When it comes to pain with women, I wish that doctors take into account menopause and order labs that check hormone levels associated with that. Again, I felt this doctor was very dismissive of my concerns.
