Almira Hadzimesic goes above and beyond. She listens with care and the perfect degree of professional empathy. In our case, there were two of us trying to explain what was going on with David. David is slightly confused and forgets things, so she listened to anxieous me; but I don't know what David is feeling so she made sure to carefully listen to David as well. Not all providers do that, nor do they do that so well. She also caught some issues that had fallen between the cracks with David's other providers--for which I was very grateful. But she did that--everything really--in a way that deflected attention from herself. In other words she's an amazing health provider, but her manner and affect is so modest that it would be easy for patients to walk away without realizing what a star she is. But based on our visits with her so far, Almira Hadzimesic really is a star. A real asset to South Bend Clinic
