“I was coming in for routine STI ...”

I was coming in for routine STI testing, and she made a comment when she asked how I was saying "well I know you're not good that's why you're here". This was extremely distasteful, and if I had been knowingly exposed to something- how terrible of a way to treat a patient who could potentially already be experiencing anxiety from the situation.
