Dr. Carlson respects my intelligence and ability to understand medical concepts and terminology. He includes me in all decisions. He discusses my test results and medications in partnership, not "doctor nows best" mode - I've experienced that with other doctors and it pisses me off (sorry). I have already recommended him to several friends.

Our doctor was caring and explained thing, checked me out for weakness and swelling, but was not up to date on my past medical history, which is why he said he was late coming into the room. This doctor did an e-consult on me therefore, he should have knowledge on my history and why I was requesting to see him, Doctors should be reviewing their patient's history days before a patient comes into the office. Especially, if you are told over and over again that your referral is being reviewed prior to scheduling the appointment. I was very upset that he did not even remembering that he did an e-consult. It only makes me think that the doctors are leaving the work the nurses and residents and just briefly reviews their notes. I truly liked the doctor, just not the methods it takes to get an appointment.
