“I had all my daughter's extensiv...”

I had all my daughter's extensive medical records, from St. Louis Childrens hospital, sent to our physician as we are transferring care to him. None of those had been read by provider prior to each of our two visits. I contacted the nurse later to encourage that everyone knows my daughters medical history prior to her upcoming surgery. That makes me nervous. She has an extensive medical history that I discussed, but no one read her records. I am certain records give a better history than what I can explain.
