“I know Dr. Shakir is insanely bu...”
I know Dr. Shakir is insanely busy and his main goal is to cure cancer, but once you're "cured," there are still long term health Issues and concerns that you'd Iike guidance on, and Dr. Shakir just doesn't have the time to deal with these Issues. It would nice If he had resources to offer and doctors/specialists to whom he could refer patients who are dealing with the long-term secondary Impacts of cancer treatment, rather than essentially telling us that this is the cost of living and we just have to deal with it. I know there are options, and I'm young enough that I can seek those resources on my own, but sometimes I need my oncologist's opinion, expertise, or referral.
