I came to Portsmouth Family Dental as a new patient. The front desk was very friendly in explaining the process of moving from my old office to their office. Upon arrival, the office was very clean and I was called in to a room very quickly. The dental assistant was very friendly and explained again what this appointment would entail. She didnt make me feel embarassed that it had been a while since I had been to the dentist. I usually hate taking x-rays but she made me comfortable and took them quickly. Dr. Cavanaugh introduced himself and did an exam explaining everything so that I could understand it. Hes very personable which put my dental anxiety at ease. A few days later, I had my cleaning. The same pleasant front desk staff greeted me promptly and the hygienist took me in right on time. She was professional and personable just like the doctor. My mouth has never felt so clean! I'm glad I made the move to Portsmouth Family Dental and have recommended them to my friends and family.
