I had both my hips replaced this summer. I am now almost 5 months post the second hip replacement. Thanks to Dr. Marvil I am back hiking, bicycling, swimming and skiing without difficulty. What a blessing to have my pre-arthritis life back. Dr. Marvil and his team are fantastic!

I had left, anterior hip replacement surgery in 12/2022. Since I am 6 months post op, I want everyone to know how great I feel!! I am able to do all the things I wasn't able to do prior to my surgery. Post op, I had no pain and did not need to go through physical therapy. I did my exercises at home. Dr. Marvil and his staff are awesome. I am a 62 year old RN, and this is my 3rd joint replacement. I love Dr. Marvil and his staff!!!!!! He is the best!!!

I've only interfaced with his fellows up to this point as I slept for several hours after the surgery. Despite this, my ACL reconstruction has gone very well overall. I met him for the first time in a follow-up appointment 2.5 months after the initial surgery.

Dr Marvil has done three of my surgeries (both hips and right shoulder). He has done an excellent job. I highly recommend him. He's a very good personal doctor which is a asset. I still need knee replacements in the future and would have Dr Marvil do both of them.

This was followed in November 2019 with an accidental elbow fracture and dislocation which Dr. Guttmann sucessfully attended to.. So, as my knee failed I knee where I would get the best care.

No PT was prescribed at time of surgery and could not get referral from office to get PT started. Had to get primary care doctor to prescribe PT. Surgery was right before holidays and when combined with COVID issues I can see the difficulty, but follow up could have been better.

II have had a great experience. I came to Dr. Marvel after struggling with a hip issue which I had dealt with for over 5 years with another Orthopedic Doctor. This doctor was not listening or willing to help me. Dr Marvel looked at my XRays and determined I was bone on bone and recommended surgery. My surgery was a success and I am now living without pain.

Dr. Walthall was my surgeon throughout this injury. I broke my right Tibia and Fibula on December 28th and was brought into the hospital and had to have emergency surgery. Dr. Walthall was my surgeon on the case and met me in the emergency department to explain the procedure to me prior to going into surgery. I was scared and worried but felt taken care of and could not have asked for a better team of surgeons to help me. I have since followed up for the past couple weeks with Dr Walthall and had to have another surgery on January 12th. The surgery was unplanned but was for further irrigation and debridement. While I was nervous to go into another surgery, I was grateful that I was in Dr. Walthall's and Dr. Marvil. While I was discouraged about having to go back into surgery, I knew it was the best to prevent against infection which has been the main concern. I am so grateful for this team of doctors and am so grateful for the care that I have been provided.
