I had been researching this procedure for a while, and finally decided to schedule it. Throughout the entire process of scheduling and doing the pre-appointment assessments, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

The first day (the right side) went very well, but had minimal effects on how I felt following the procedure. Dr. Mulvaney explained that this was normal, and that hopefully I should notice a more pronounced change with the left side on the following day.

The second day (the left side) was truly life-changing! I feel like I am actually able to relax now. It feels as if there has been a massive weight lifted from my shoulders and chest. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone who struggles with PTSD, as I feel like now I can begin to enjoy life again!

I came to ROSM after a meniscus surgery that left me worse than before. The first round of treatment was PRP which helped correct the swelling and discomfort from the surgery. I wanted to get even better. Stem cell took me to better than pre-surgery and if I could go back in time, this would have been my first line of attack instead of the surgery which made me worse.

“Over and Above My Expectations...Which Were High at the Start”

I came to see Dr. Mulvaney for knee PRP having been living with osteoarthritis of my knee for over a decade and had 5 PRP treatments previously from two other providers. At the initial consult, Dr. Mulvaney was incredibly thorough and generous with his time and expertise. In fact, we ended up spending more time talking about some low back issues I was having (a recent MRI showed spondilolysthesis, a new finding for me). He treated me with prolotherapy for that (one treatment a month for 3 months). I have only very minor issues since with my back and am very happy with the results.

Then came the knee PRP. I had two treatments about 3 months apart. My arthritis is rather extensive but I am fit and active and want to stay that way. After treatment 1, things were better, but not better enough so we did a second treatment. With more advanced arthritis, multiple treatments are often warranted. The improvement after the second treatment was significant and pronounced.

9/11. Iwas assigned to E-1 My company arrived prior to either building collapsing. I was on the 22nd floor of tower one when tower 2 collapsed. I had a pretty severe case of plantar fasciitis which my previous provider wanted to do surgery on. After extensive physical therapy, my physical therapist had suggested trying the PRP procedure before going ahead with the surgery. I flew from California to receive an SGB from Dr Mulvaney. Planning the trip and booking the appointment was relatively easy. Kim, the receptionist/ office manager, was incredibly helpful and accomodating. She made sure I was booked, and followed up with emails and texts.
When I arrived for my shot, a Medical Assistant got me set up, and Dr Mulvaney came in just a few minutes after. He sat and explained the procedure to me very thoroughly, covering any questions or concerns I may have had. He's very easy to talk to, especially if you're military/ veteran.
The procedure took about 8 minutes total, and the recovery time was about 45 minutes. I began to feel a lightness after about 10 minutes after the injection, and within 20 minutes I felt completely different. It was a bit overwhelming, so I actually felt a little dizzy and sick. I returned to my hotel room to let the physical side effects (Horners Response) wear off, and by that time I was able to ease into the feelings.

I received my fist block in Feb and it lasted about 8 months before some but not all of my issues slightly returned. The first block allowed me to do things and feel things that I hadn't done in about 19 years. I was able to go eat with my family and actually enjoy myself. I was able to control my anger and outbursts correctly and not go from 0 to 99 in a split second. I went back for a second block because some life issues sparked a return of my anger. I was still able to do a lot of things from the first block I was just worried about my outbursts. I just had my second block minutes ago and already feel relaxed and calm. “Stem Cell Rotator Cuff Repair over Surgery”

8 weeks out from stem cell procedure (BMAC) for torn rotator cuff - pain free, normal life activities and working on building strength. Chose stem cell over surgery because been there done that - left shoulder surgery 2004, right shoulder 2014. If I had done surgery again, I would just be getting out of the sling at this point. Instead I was in a sling only for a handful of days before starting some simple movements. A couple weeks later, started PT. So pleased with progress and results from going with stem cell option.

I had a pretty serious arm break when I was a child which required multiple surgeries and metal implants. This resulted in significant loss of strength and feeling. Since then, I've tried getting help from specialists with this issue but it was brushed off a result of the injury with no hope of healing. Last week, I saw Dr. Mulvaney for an acute thumb issue and mentioned the arm problem. He took a quick look under ultrasound and immediately found the problem - something 5+ other physicians could not find in 20 years time.
