Cowell Physiotherapy is direct pay facility and accepts all forms of payment including cash, check, major credit card and/or paypal. The insurance or third party payer system results in a reduced quality of care and attention. The insurance based business models forces many physical therapists to treat 2 or more clients an hour, spreading themselves thin and resulting in slower progress for you the patient. At Cowell Physiotherapy we schedule one hour treatment slots, providing one on one attention solely to you and your care. This model results in a faster pain free recovery for you so that you can return to the activities that bring you joy. When you can return to your gym class, cross fit, play with your child, or return to your weekend warrior status and abolishing your pain in much fewer visits, you’ll see the out of pocket expense at Cowell Physiotherapy is well worth it.

I didn’t become a Physical Therapist to run from one patient to the next every 15 to 20 minutes and spend hours each day on paperwork. I didn’t become a private practice owner so I could become an expert at figuring out what treatment codes and billing techniques will keep my business from going bankrupt. I became a Physical Therapist to help people to the absolute best of my abilities, and I became a private practice owner to do so on my terms … not the terms of an insurance company or the federal government.
