I appreciate the cleanliness and attention to hygiene at this office. I was called into the procedure room quickly, and the procedure was done courteously and professionally. My only issue is the recent switch from the big lamp over the chair to headlights for illumination. Even with sunglasses, the headlight is very bright and could trigger a ocular migraine for me. So far it hasn't, but I think patients should know in advance that they will be exposed to very bright light.

The front office staff were understanding of my schedule as a teacher and did their best to find flexible options for appointments. The dental hygienist gave a thorough cleaning and strength-based advice for improving my dental hygiene routine (and she kept it fun!). Finally, Dr. Yao and Cristina even made dealing with cavities a surprisingly pleasant experience. From explaining the processes to providing distractions (first time watching a movie in the chair), I was almost reluctant to leave the chair. I came to Dr Yao with a number of dental challenges and he really put me at ease. He was friendly, easy to work with, and made me feel comfortable every step of the way. I came to him because he was so close to home, but I'd happily come from further away.

Dr. Yao recently replaced one of my old crowns (not one of his) which I accidentally pulled off while flossing with a new “younger” crown that feels and looks great. He also touched up some of the older fillings on my bottom teeth. Dr. Yao’s team includes two very experienced and talented dental assistants. Eva who helped with the touch up fillings and Cristina who helped with the crown replacement. I have to say beside every great dentist you always find great dental assistants. Great job team!

I received a lot of service from Dr Yao, I once did filling, root canal, crown and teeth washing. Everyone here is super nice. Dr Yao is very patient in explaining my teeth condition and the service needed. The assistant who helped me to do teeth cleaning is also nice. She is very gentle and I do not feel pain. Besides, the assistant who responses the phone is also very responsive. She usually answers the phone call quickly. Not like somewhere you need to wait for ages. And she helped me several times for rescheduling. I really appreciate all the help I got from Dr Yao

it is hard to say one enjoys a visit to the dentist, but Dr. Yao and his staff make it a pleasant experience. Having gone through treatments for oral cancer, my needs are different than most. I always feel I am getting the most appropriate care from compassionate staff. I continue to recommend them to everyone I know.
