I have only good things to say about my experience at the Laufer institute. Everyone was very helpful and listened to what i was wanting. I was able to get my breast augmentation done the same month as I have an upcoming vacation and they were able to accomidate my request. Surgery went very smoothly and just how I was told it would go. Recovery was also just as I was told and I honestly have not one thing to complain about. Im one happy camper!!!

Almost 30 years ago, I had Rhinoplasty surgery in Chicago, IL. The correction of a deviated septum was successful, unfortunately the reshaping of the nose fell far short of expectation. At age 63 I decided to consult with the Laufer Institute. Overcoming my own fear of undergoing a surgical procedure of choice, not necessity, my first impression made me feel comfortable to put my fate into Dr. Laufer's hands. What a difference a surgeon makes! Now finally I have the result I always wanted!

I returned after 20 years (rhinoplasty) which I was thrilled with to have my breast lift and augmentation and couldn't be more pleased with the results. Dr. Laufer and his staff are second to none. I was at ease knowing I was in good hands and Dr. Laufer and his staff really listen and care about any concerns. Being that he has his own Institute made it very comfortable and lowered my anxieties throughout the procedure; before, during and after.

My husband and I finally decided to change this, for this meant another year of stuffing another bathing suit!! The decision to use Dr Laufer was an easy one. Experience and reputation! I have had prior surgeries with other doctor's and I will have to say they were awful and I would never recommend them to anyone. Dr. Laufer listens to everything you have to say and then he will be honest with you. I highly recommend him and his staff.

Dr. Laufer performed a breast augmentation on me 16 1/2 years ago. They were beautiful and very natural looking. I just had them removed and new implants were put in and again, everything went well. Dr. Laufer and all of his staff are wonderful. They are very knowledgeable and caring and always willing to spend time with you and answer all of your questions. My surgery was very extensive and Dr. Laufer let me know this going in so i was properly prepared and had reasonable expectations. After surgery, my expectations were exceeded. In addition to his amazing work, his follow up care is above and beyond.

I made an appointment with Dr. Laufer almost a year before I scheduled my surgery. I was't in a hurry to have a face lift so when I finally decided, I new I was ready, and excited. Through out the planning, I ask many questions. The DR. and Staff made me feel like every question I asked was important. This was such a nice experience, that when It was finally time to pick a day for the surgery, I wasn't anxious at all. It worked out that my husband could not be here the day of the surgery, which as much as I love him, I was fine with this. My closest friend, was able to take me. We arrived the morning of the surgery. The Dr.. and Nurse were waiting for me, so we quickly got started. I was completly relaxed. The surgery was finished before I new it, although it was 6 plus hours later. It seems like a blur now, I went home and slept for at least 6 hours. The recovery was what I expected, with some pain, and bruising. I went to my appointment on Monday, and was told I was doing great. All I did for my recovery was to listen, and do what I was told to do. I was prepared to stay in the house, and that is what I did. All of my "ducks" were in a row weeks before the surgury. Sometimes I felt ill all over, but this was part of the healing process. I did have the blues, and cried easy. Sometimes I felt I was going to look like "this" which I didn't look like my self, forever. I talk to the nurse and at one point called them. They reassured me that this was a part of the healing process. By the end of week 2 I was smiling again, The swelling was going down, the blues and was gone. One of the feeling I did experience right after, was quilt. How could I do this? I was a wife mother, and 'the sister" who could afford this", and now look at me. How could I spend this much money on face. My husband works so hard everyday, and here I sit recovering from a facelift. I now look at this as not depression, part of the healing process. I am worth this. I too have worked hard, a career, I raised 3 successful children all now married and none of them need us financially. I am not the women that dresses and acts a certain way to attract other men. I didn't have a face lift because I thought it would cure sadness. I was happy before. One of the most important reasons, I could have this work done, was that, I could afford it. I didn't spend money I didn't have. The only reason why I write this part is, I don't think anyone should have this done, unless they can afford, or absolutely need it. This experience has taught me, to Do my homework before choosing a Dr.. Don't rush into surgery, just because I have time on my hands. To prepare to stay home, and not sleep all day. It has taught me pain tolerence. Yes I had pain, yes I took perscription Pain meds, but only for a few days. I then took advil. This surgery hurts, it not for the weak, but it is so worth. it. I am now close to week 4 post op. I have hardly any pain, and I have no guilt. I had liposuction done a few months ago and he gave me Restylane injections. He is so caring. I wish I had gone to him 5 years ago when I had a horrible plastic surgeon mess up my tummy tuck. Breast reduction has resulted in so many positive changes! At 62, I’m not the typical plastic surgery patient. Dr. Laufer repaired muscles and lifted everything back to where it used to be, so it even though I’m a D cup, it’s a more youthful look and, more importantly, my posture is good again. Bra straps don’t cut into my shoulders; no more stress on my back. I took longer to heal due to my age, but I received excellent care! Wonderful staff too! Well worth the cost for great results.

Never once did I feel nervous, overwhelmed, or confused. They lead me through the whole process providing me with a sense of compassion, comfort and care. I was a AA cup. Dr Laufer was able to make a full C look 100% natural on my 105 lb frame. In conclusion, all I can say is that if you're looking to go anywhere for any cosmetic procedure, do not go anywhere BUT the Laufer Institute. My standards are extremely high relating to doctors, Dr. Laufer was is an amazing person, his incredible talent is matched with his wonderful personality.

The surgeon I chose did not complete the requests I had for my nose surgery, which were straight forward and standard expectations. I did not feel confident in allowing that surgeon to go back and operate again, and so I sought out help from Dr. Laufer as I thought back to my first visit with him. He truly made me feel so cared for!! I cannot express enough how important it is to have someone operate on you that you have 100% confidence in and trust that they are listening to and understand your concerns and requests. Money should never be a deciding factor in these decisions. My revision with Dr. Laufer went very smoothly and my results are amazing- exactly what I asked for. I feel beautiful again. I am experiencing expert care one week out from my surgery. Dr Chandawarkar has been really helpful and concerned in my treatment. He was upfront and honest about expectations, and way ahead of my former surgeons on the best new technique. They provided me with a wealth of information about my procedure and recovery. Multiple follow ups gives me much confidence in my decision. The whole team taking care of me including Dr Laufer are extremely kind.
